Itinerary
Day 1
After break fast, Lion Safaris driver guide will come to pick you up from your home/ Hotel or if you land at Airport, he will come to pick you there and drive to Eastern province of Rwanda where the park is located, on arrival at the park reception, you will register then continue to check in at your booked lodge Ruzizi tented lodge and have your lunch, after lunch is afternoon game drive for the search of some animals like zebras, antiloppes, buffaloes, After that short game drive, the guide driver will drive you to the lake Ihema for attending the boat trip where you can see hippos crocodiles and different water on Nyirabiyoro islands, then you get good 1h30 mins, then the driver guide brings back to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight stay.
Day 2
After your breakfast, with your packed lunch, our guide driver will come to pick you and you go for full day game drive from the south to the north of the park where most of animals are expected but depends on seasons, there is very open and flat plains which are Kilala and Mohana plains, You will enjoy animals there, you can see Elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antiloppes, etc, then the driver guide will suggest one of the best pic nic spot where you will enjoy your packed lunch and continue your safari with full enjoyment of park landscapes and animals
After, it's a drive back to the south same time making the game drive for checking if can be any other new animal species you can see up to the south and be ready for the the night game drive which offers much chance to spot Nocturnal species such as leopards, hyenas, genet cats, Aadvarks, jacals, owl,.. then after night Safari is the drive back to your lodge for dinner and Overnight at your booked lodge.
In the morning After, after enjoying your late breakfast, Lion Safaris driver guide will come to take you then you go for a short game drive in the south to verify if there is any other animal species that you can see at last day, After wards is a drive back to Kigali and get dropped at your hotel/residence or at Airport depending on your flight time back home.
